How did we get from wanting the LORD to thoughts being continually evil?
-Adam and Eve were made perfect before they fell.
-Adam and Eve were the first ever to take heed to a seducing spirit and doctrines of devils. They were excited about what they could become.
-The war on faith in Spirit and Truth has been there ever since. The LORD chases those who He loves.
-What happens is LORD blesses a nation. Then there begins a falling away soon after because humans are in a fallen stated. Instead of seeking God, they rationalize what they do using scriptures. It's so subtle, that it begins a falling away instantly. Before one realizes it, they're constantly seeking man's opinions. They also want to be heard. They want to be right as unto men.
For example if a Christian does not stand up for the lgbtq community it makes they feel good. While it's good to not support it, it's not really our job to fight lgbtq community. It's are job to serve the LORD. We should delight in Him, pray to Him, and He will give us the perfect peace. It goes from being about serving the LORD to always fighting stuff. Fighting abortion, fighting lgbtq community, fighting inflation, fighting porn etc. It's the spirituality behind doing what you do that makes it wrong. Often times, believers want to fight it off their own spirit, giving their opinions, when they should be serving the LORD and allowing the Holy Spirit to take it's course. Draw closer to GOD and He will draw closer to you.
-Also believers start fearing other people's god's due to their fallen nature. They want to serve the LORD, but the strength of the seducing spirit is so strong that it makes them depart from the faith.
-One gets so distracted by the things of the world, all the way to the point where some think their serving GOD, but they're not. Many will think they did many wonderful works in His name.
Matthew 7:22-24
22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
Focusing on Matthew 7:22 wonderful works part:
-Did I not fight the lgbtq community in your name?
-Did I not cut taxes in your name.
-Did I not give to the poor in your name?
-Did I not vote for fill in the blank in your name?
-Did I not fight against communism in your name?
-Did I not make someone's day better in your name?
-Did I not teach people how to make money in your name?
-Did I not become a good music artist in your name?
-Did I not become a good family man in your name?
-Did I not become a math teacher in your name?
-Did I not become a good science teacher in your name?
-Did I not become a good mathematician in your name?
A person is not supposed to do good works in Jesus name as the standard. They're supposed to believe in GOD in Spirit and in Truth.
When one forgets GOD it is inevitable they will have something ungodly.
John 4:24
24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
1 Corinthians 6:9-11
9 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,
10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.
Leviticus 19:4
4 Turn ye not unto idols, nor make to yourselves molten gods: I am the Lord your God.
Eclessiastes 1:2-4
2 Vanity of vanities, saith the Preacher, vanity of vanities; all is vanity.
3 What profit hath a man of all his labour which he taketh under the sun?
4 One generation passeth away, and another generation cometh: but the earth abideth for ever.
If one does not serve the LORD all he is left with is vanity.
-False gods
-Fornication
-Idolaters
-Adultery
-Effeminate spirituality
-Abusers of themselves
-Theft
-Covetousness
The list goes on. Suicide is a form of abusing one's self. Often times what happens is people look at the universe, see how big it is and seek the meaning of life just to figure out there is no meaning according to their own understanding, so it leads them to suicide. They have no reason to live, so why live? What they do not know is their next destination is the eternal lake of fire.
Without God people are left with spiritual intuition. The most evil people on this planet have some sense of morality, it just is not of the truth which is Jesus.
They use their feelings, their rationale, a common sense, the standard of society, the standard of man, the standard of themselves, the stand of false gods, their instincts, their spiritual intuition etc.
Often times best case scenarios are they try to make peace, but fail drastically like the U.N. because it is filled with Satan's children. Satan's children is anyone who does not believe in Jesus in spirit and in truth, which means they will do what their father does because they are of the same spirituality.
John 8:44
44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.
At someone point what happens is people just want peace, so they tolerate everything and forget GOD. Leaving people left with being married, and given in marriage and living just like the days of Noah, which is a life of vanity.
-Some of these people have the LORD in the back of their minds, but the LORD is not going to accept it. Nothing is new under the sun.
Ecclesiastes 1:9
9 The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun.
Now everyone is falsely tolerating one another, seeking peace that is a false peace, worshipping false god's, people committing murder, and walking after their own lusts.
That is how GOD is the start to people serving Him to there being a falling away.
BONUS:
What happens after is the LORD repents of his creation and destroys them leaving someon(s) left to serve Him.
2 Peter 3:6-10
6 Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:
7 But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.
8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,
12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?
