APPROXIMATION COUNTDOWN 1551 DAYS LEFT: Increasing Knowledge of Seducing Spirits and Doctrines of Devils

For the wages of sin is eternal damnation in the lake of fire, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ the Risen Savior.



1 Timothy 4:1-5

Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;

2 Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;


What are seducing spirits and doctrines of devils?

-Seducing Spirits is a spirit that seduces another spirit (of the Christian faith) to depart from the faith in some way shape or form.

-Doctrines of devils are doctrines that devils teach. All doctrines of devils are seducing spirits, but not all seducing spirits are doctrines of devils (at least to my current understanding).


Examples: One is a Christians. He believes Jesus is the way the Truth and the life. Someone comes to you and asks, "Do you believe black lives matter, or all lives matter?" The Christian says all lives matter. The person says, "No! Black lives matter." Before you know it your constantly arguing with people on whether or not black lives matter or all lives matter. That is a seducing spirit.


-The Christians believes in Jesus in Spirit and in truth. Someone comes up to them and talks about fighting racism. The Christians says, "Yeah, I can fight racism. I don't see anything wrong with that." It's that easy. The spirit of fighting racism seduces the believer, and it is no longer about serving the LORD, but fighting racism. That is a seducing spirit.


Doctrines of devils examples:

-A believer is no longer a believer and says, "I'm God."

-A believer is no longer a believer and says, "There are many paths to God."

The believer was seduced into a doctrine of a devil which cause them to depart from the faith. All doctrines of devils are seducing spirits, but not all seducing spirits are doctrines of devils. Both black lives matter, and all lives matter according to God dying on the cross, and also neither life matters without God period because without God all is vanity. Not a bad topic, but it should not be the focus.


How to know if you're under a seducing spirit or a doctrine of devils:

-What you support does not match the scriptures.

-You use "I" messages when talking about topics.

-You have many words to say.

-You are arguing with nonbelievers.

-You feel good and/or proud about what you're doing.

-You're being taken away from the truth.
