-One verse says lovers of their own selves, the other says considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted.

-The problem with with loving yourself is that is ungodly. You forget other peoples well-being and Holiness. You do not pray for them. You chase money for happiness. It turns you away from god. In damages the planet.

-Considering yourself lest thou be tempted means considering yourself to serve the LORD. The Holy Spirit is a selfless spirit. It considers all. It helps everyone. It dwells in the believers of the True God. By considering yourself, you're considering yourself, lest you be tempted as unto the LORD that means. The LORD is the Holy Spirit that allows all things to be done with charity. Prays for all, is selfless to all. Gives grace to all. Stays faithful to the LORD for He is love even unto death. The LORD's way must always be considered first.
